Who I'm

I am in love with art, especially theatre. That is why I became a professional director. I graduated from the Academy of Performing Arts (VŠMU) in 1993, as one of the first women in the field of theatre directing. I was the first student to be nominated for a prestigious theatre award, The Award of Alfred Radok. I coined a new theatre genre - a rock operetta. I brought hip hop to the historical building of the Slovak National Theatre. My performances were nominated for the Dosky award many times. In June 2019 I made a unique performance of poetry by Jan Stacho called "Šmátranie v širocine". I think the way I staged it is truly unique I dare to say in a global context. I direct plays in Slovak National Theatre, in Astorka, Aréna, GuNaGu, in Nitra, in Banská Bystrica...I also work as a casting director, dramaturgist, I write screenplays, lyrics of songs, and poetry, work for television, dubbing, production and aromatherapy. Occasionally I do photo modeling and acting. Since September 2020 I teach at a conservatory. I make organic jams, I am a dog person ( I have one dog), a cat person ( I have two). I used to represent Slovakia in the game of petanque and I sing pretty well.
